iRecycle@school

Field trips to the award-winning irecycle@school Education Center offer students an opportunity to learn first-hand what happens to their recyclables, garbage and green waste at a working material recovery facility and transfer station. Field trips to the irecycle@school Education Center provide real-life application of concepts taught in the classroom in the areas of physical science, life science and investigation/experimentation.

This program is run by StopWaste.org. For more information about scheduling a visit to the Education Center, contact www.StopWaste.org

Recycling Tip:
Reuse before you recycle -- fabric scraps, Sunday comics, boxes and more are the makings for art projects.
